This had to be the biggest non event and disappointment of the year. Not one element of it was successful. It takes a real mess to screw every aspect of an album campaign up but yet they managed to.

What a screamy mess. It sounds like both recorded it separately and some producer mashed it together.

Kelly Clarkson needs to take a long sit down after she has this second child and figure out where she wants to go career wise. She has completely lost her identity and everything she has put out since AIEW (besides a handful of tracks) has been half hearted. One minute she wants to be a rock chick. Then she wants to be a country singer. Then it is back to pop. Country again. Christmas. Generic pop. Dreadful duets.

As for Ben he was one of the better winners however I don't think this time next year he will be in the spotlight. The shelf life of X-Factor winners dwindles every year. In the past they were guaranteed a successful first album campaign. However even that has been stripped away. Now they are lucky to even have the winner's single go to number 1.

Re Ben. This is not the direction I expected him to go in at all. I thought he'd go rocky. I was a bit disappointed when I heard this because I liked him.

But it's grown on me and now I like it. Love his voice.

Definitely a half hearted collab though.

I enjoyed his performance of Imagine Dragon's "Demons" on the show.
