There's so much wrongness within this list, I can't even begin to behold it.

Re: VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music
I was ready to launch into it but I honestly wouldn't know where to begin. Number 40 would be a start.
Adele, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry and Beyoncé are way too early in their careers to be so high.
Also Britney Spears before Alanis Morissette?
The electric chair wouldn't be good enough for whoever created this list.

Re: VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music
Obviously they weren't as important as Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus
Re: VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music

Re: VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music
good ppl come up with these lists
but its only an opinion posted somewhere where ppl can see but not change
i besically learned the lists are correct but mistitled
"100 greatest women in music of all time..............................."
keep on writing it doesnt just end there
you dont judge that only by sales, relevance and voice [like the top 10]
you have to include performing abilities
because "in music" doesnt mean they only have to sing
they have to perform which only by that boosts Britney & Jlo into the top 10...
#1 is legid tho
u know its fake when the #1 is someone else

Re: VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music
Is Madonna really the greatest woman in music though? I don't think so.

Re: VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music
I don't think so either. To be honest I think Madonna has been a more important figure in popular culture than in pop music. She broke boundaries. She was outrageous. But her music was/is absolutely nothing special to me. HOWEVER I have to give her props for writing a lot of her songs herself, even if I don't think they're particularly great songs.
Gary, I gave you karma for your post about the artists I mentioned not being as important as Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato. lol!
