I think it was a wide decision. Today, for example, Unconditionally lost more than 2M AI in the US. It did its job I guess. Good performance of the song, she's doing a great promo in Europe.

New disaster at the NRJ awards in france. They assumed she would lip synch and played the song instead of the instrumental. She had to cut it short and play again from the start. She handled it well. What idiot pressed the wrong button? Lauhing

This song has been ready to blow the fuck up since it was released as a promo single. This may be the real reason why Unconditionally didn't become a bigger hit.

Dark Horse could have been number 1 by now. I doubt there will be anymore ballads released from this album now. The public just don't seem to connect with her slower songs except for Wide Awake and TTGA. The failure of Thinking of You is still criminal.

Still plugging Unconditionally and this is probably her best performance of it after it has been dropped in favour of Dark Horse Lauhing
