I'm taken back by the success of Lights in the US. I find it very average. She is a nice girl so good for her. Bit shitty Natasha Bedingfield never got a US Number 1. She deserved to do it a lot more so than this track IMO.

I agree. Good song, but not brilliant by any means.

Still though, I am happy to see new artist after new artist hit number one instead of the same old people.

it is sad when songs like this are getting to number 1 and Spirit Indestructible isn't even on the Billboard's bubbling underneath the bubbling under chart.

BUT I LIKE THAT SONG!!!!! Come on, it's hardly the worst song to hit #1. We had a pretty good streak with Stronger, We Are Young, Somebody That I Used to Know and Call Me Maybe.
