Billboard's Year End Charts are out!
Hey guys, Billboard just published their year end's charts and this is how 2012 sums up according to them.
Top 25 Tours
Madonna ends up at no.1 with a total gross of 228M from her MDNA Tour. No surprise here I guess. This tour is already among the highest-grossing concert tours currently sitting at no.14.
Coldplay came at no.5 with their Mylo Xyloto Tour (147.1M) and Gaga at no.6 with the Born This Way Ball* (124.9M).
All data is reported from Nov. 9, 2011 to Nov. 13, 2012.
*Gaga's tour does not include the first Latin American dates as they haven't been reported yet from Live Nation.
The Billboard 200
Adele finishes at no.1 for second consecutive year as the best selling album in America with her newly diamond certified album "21". Again, no surprise here. This is how the top 20 looks like.*

Gotye was one of the revelations of 2012 in music scene. STIUTK was a smash, hitting no.1 for 8 weeks and eventually becoming the biggest song in the US this year. He has double reason to celebrate as this song also ends up as the most downloaded track (6,703,000) and the most played song in US radio. Props to him, truly deserved. The top 20 looks like this:
