The Fame has aged you are right Ashley but it still has Just Dance, Pokerface, Paparazzi, Lovegame, Eh Eh, Paper Gangster, Starstruck which are some of her best songs.

it actually made me think back to which old songs I can still hear on the radio at random times.

sometimes I listed to the radio and many times they play several old songs and they never seem to get old.....here are those that Canadian radio stations play all the time :

1.Lady Gaga - Poker Face
2.Usher - Yeah
3.Madonna - Vogue [once a day]
4.JT - Sexyback [always!]
5.Adele - Rolling in the deep
6.Bon Jovi - *no clue of the name because I always shut radio off*
7.Alanis M - You Outta Know
8.Rihanna - Umbrella
9.Spice Girls - Wannabe
10.Detiny Child - Jumpin' Jumpin'

I would be happy if they played those songs here tbh especially Alanis

We get a lot of Irish acts like U2, The Corrs, Kodaline
Madonna wise it is usually Get Into the Groove or Ray of Light.
Adele still gets played alot but usuall SLY
Spice Girls usually Stop (video recorded in Ireland) or Say You'll Be There
Still overplaying Pharrell, Blurred Lines, Get Lucky, BEP I got a Feeling

Serious question - is it too late for her to turn her career around or is beyond help at this stage?

The fanbase just doesn't seem to be there anymore. The non-horrible fans have left the building, her sales are laughable, the ARTPOP album was dire, it was mostly Tony Bennett fans who bought Cheek to Cheek, she overshadowed both ARTPOP and Cheek to Cheek with silly outfits, the comments on news sites are scathing - many saying they were fans that got sick of her.

But yet underneath it all she was behind songs like Bad Romance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Just Dance. There were glimmers of hope when she released the GUY video but it all disintegrated quickly. Was she just a shot in the pan and the magic she made on those tracks (mostly all with RedOne who she doesn't work with anymore) a limited thing?

Ego there.
Ego > Talent for the foreseeable future. Several failures now and still no wake up as to what she is doing wrong and failure to see what people want from her - pop anthems with an edge.
