don't know what Fatdele have to do with Taylor
especially that 1989 being a pop album that still sold over 1 million in one week this time VS a vocalist album who is obvs going to sell because its not pop.

what more is that..... Taylor is not holding any record
'oops I did it again' holds the female record for highest selling album by a female in first week
she held it for 15 years so good for luck

sucks for her that literally nobody even remembers she holds the record and not Taylor

It has a lot to do with the searing hatred a lot of people seems to have towards Taylor Swift especially over the last 12 months even from past fans.

I think Adele will beat Britney's record. And she likely won't even bother to promote or tour.

Taylor is hated because shes overexposed at this point and she knows to chill it out for a while

this is exactly what Adele did. she vanished off the face of the earth and suddenly came back

but I still don't understand why people even bother comparing Adele against any other pop star

Adele is not a pop singer or a pop entertainer.
shes like Whitney Huston and Celine Dion... these women have their own league and they will always sell more records because their sound is slow and suits for adults
in her case in also the pity card...

remember Susan Boyle... how she exploded

Susan Boyle was a gimmick though. I don't think anyone expected her to last once you got over "ugly eldery woman can sing".

78K copies this week for 1989 tis the season

not sure why she needs another single but I wont complain if its promised to be good

if it was shot in Australia I suppose itll be another scenery like video like 'wildest dreams'

which kinda sucks... when I pictured a video for OOTW in my head I pictured paparazzi, woods,fight scenes, everything is burning, smoke, car chases......

I really want the WANEGBT remix and backdrop from 1989 tour out but it doesn't exist because its always live
its like this super cool hard rock version that's amazing and the backdrop is like idk super cool and super hero badass like where she has tons of wigs and james bond themed

I think WANEGBT was the turning point for her commercially.

There is no point denying that she makes great pop songs but it was there I started to turn off her.

I think it would be wise to take a decent size break after this tour ends.

It will be interesting to see where she goes to next musically.

the tour Grossed 250 million dollar making it the 3rd best selling female tour of all time.
1. Madonna - sticky and sweet - 405 million        85 shows
2. Madonna - MDNA - 305 million                       88 shows
3.Celine Dion - Taking Chances - 279 million       132 shows
4. Taylor Swift - 1989 - 250 million                     85 shows

[although Celine and her 132 shows are hardly fair on the list]

and now all time average gross by amnt of money per show.

1.U2 - 360 tour - 6.7 million
2.Take That - 6.4 million
3.Madonna - S&S - 4.8 million
4.1D - 4.2 million
5.Rolling stones - 3.8 million
6.Madonna - MDNA - 3.7 million
7.Madonna - CT - 3.2 million
8.Taylor - 3.02

pretty good considering 3 are legendary rock bands and 3 are iconic Madonna in her later years...

that makes her the second most successful touring solo and female after Madonna
well done.

1989 tour came out on DVD today.
im glad she didn't make me wait years like others do
or not release DVDs of their best tour at all [yes you Britney....]

great video !

too bad it wont get much hype or chart well because its pretty much an Era leftover

but im proud of her for giving such a great video for a 6th single

BTW did you know ?
the mansion from BS music video was apparently haunted and nobody lived there
and there was a fire in there shortly after filming and its pretty much destroyed
