Do you think HB is trying to differentiate itself from Vogue and not have celeb covers any longer? Good Housekeeping is doing that. Food on covers now to be different from Redbook and Ladie Home Journal

They were fighting for Kim K and they had GaGa for March so they are still in the celeb game. Plus they continue to use Terry Richardson. The model covers are surprising especially the likes of Lara Stone and Daria W because the majority of the US would be clueless as to who they are.
Kate Moss is a guaranteed seller. Last time they used Gisele it was a worst seller - her Vanity Fair cover the same month was also a worst seller. I wonder how Cara D done for W last September. But there is definitely a shift in the US magazines. In the UK it is common for the biggies - Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Elle to use models.
I guess HB are trying to set their sights on the fashion crowd but I guess when the results come in Glenda could be changing her mind.
