Oh goodness!! I’m absoloutly flabbergasted! In between laughing my head off, welling up, needing to sit down and trying to maintain an open fire (which is pretty much impossible huh!?) I keep having flashbacks to Sunday night. The most incredible night of my life. Thank you to you all, I am so overwhelmed, it’s the strangest feeling. I have constant butterflies and goosebumps, it’s wearing me out but I LOVE it! I’ve been sleeping a lot but the minute I wake up I burst out laughing and it starts all over again.

I forgot to mention so many people by name on the night, and for that I’m sorry. I will say thanks to your face when I next see you. I was totally unprepared. Despite the phenomenal year, I swear I didn’t think I had any chance. All the categories were full of people I adore with brilliant songs, records and performances. So not in my wildest dreams did I think to actually prepare anything proper to say just in case.
Thank you to everyone who enjoys my music, and to all the “daydreamers” (i love that you call yourselves that. I read all your messages and threads from time to time and you crack me up x) it seems like you pass 21 on and want people to hear it and it’s because of that that it’s evolved into something that we should all be very proud of. All of this is yours – the songs, the shows, the moments like this. Not that there’s any other moments like this one, but you get my drift…. Ha!

The night itself was so amazing, I met so many incredible people and everyone we’ve lost this year were on our minds and in our hearts and it was lovely to remember them all together as fans and friends.

I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!

Thanks to a Grammy Awards-fueled gain, Adele's "21" album beats out Van Halen's new "A Different Kind of Truth" for the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200 chart.

Adele's "21" sold 237,000 in the week that ended on Feb. 12 (the day of the Grammys) -- posting a gain of 95%. Van Halen's "A Different Kind of Truth" arrives in the No. 2 position with 187,000. Adele won six Grammy trophies on the Sunday night ceremony -- including album, record and song of the year -- and performed on the broadcast. It was her first stage performance since undergoing throat surgery last year.

With 20 weeks at No. 1, it marks the longest run at the top of the chart since "The Bodyguard" spent 20 weeks at No. 1 in 1992-1993. It's quite likely "21" will easily net a 21st frame atop the tally next week, once a full week of Grammy impact is felt.

Adele is also found at No. 9 with her debut set, "19," selling 36,000 (up 103%). It's the first time an act has had two albums in the top 10 since March 19, 2011, when Justin Bieber occupied the Nos. 4 and 8 slots with "Never Say Never: the Remixes" (EP) and "My World 2.0," respectively.

Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" is forced backwards -- falling 2-4 -- though it increases in sales: 187,000 (up 14%). Clearly thanks to her Grammy buzz, she has two more songs in the top 10: "Someone Like You" rallies 23-9 with 128,000 (up 91%) and "Rolling in the Deep" (which she performed) zooms 39-10 (126,000; up 174%).

It's the first time a lead act has had three songs concurrently in the top 10 since the chart dated July 25, 2009, when Michael Jackson was at Nos. 2, 8 and 9 with "Man in the Mirror," "Billie Jean" and "Thriller," respectively.

"Rumour Has It" was just confirmed as the next single from "21." Will there be a music video as well?

JD: We're looking into maybe doing an official video, looking at somebody. It's the fourth and last single form this record.

OK, does anyone else find Adele even the slightest bit overrated?
Her music is great, but it is not earth-shattering. I've heard "Someone Like You" so many times that it's become very boring and annoying.

21 GOES FOR 21: After remaining at #1 on today’s HITS’
Album sales chart, XL/Columbia recording artist Adele’s 21 will have its
best sales week yet next Tuesday (2/21), the one-year anniversary of
the album's release. Early indicators suggest the six-time Grammy
winner, in her 52nd week on the chart, will blow past the 399k she
achieved during Christmas week 2011. This will also be her 21st week
at #1, setting a new record for the Soundscan era and tying MC Hammer's
Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em, which logged a pre-Soundscan tally of 21
weeks. Next up are the soundtracks for Purple Rain and Saturday Night
Fever, each of which held the #1 spot for 24 weeks in 1984-85 and 1978,
respectively. Meanwhile, the British tabloids claim the U.K. songbird
wants to take a five-year break from her career to spend more time with
