I'm a bit pissed off we didn't get a DVD of the tour. I love how she always ended an era by relasing a tour DVD and a re-release album with the videos on it. Although besides WYWH the videos were a disappointment but a tour would have been nice. Apparently quite a few venues though were very empty. Might have something to do with it.

So much for being done back in May....

Two weeks ago, Chad Kroeger called into SoJo 104.9 to talk about the Nickelback's upcoming concert at Revel Resorts, his recent critical backlash, his new music video, and working with Avril Lavigne.

SoJo: What can you tell me about the work you're doing with Avril Lavigne. I saw some photos on Facebook that kind of made me all fluttery. Did she reach out to you?

Chad Kroeger: I met her manager, when I was in Cabo for New Years. He got in touch with my manager and suggested her and I get together and do some writing. We've done two or three different writing sessions now, and it's just amazing every single time we get into the studio together. She's got, just an amazing voice! We've probably done eight songs now, and there is another week scheduled here coming up in about four or five days.

When is that interview from? Avril was on vacations for the better part of the past month or so...

Or maybe they're now working on songs for Nickelback now? He didn't really specify what they were working on.

Still nothing... I can see her performing on the X-Factor due to LA "Racist" Reid. She needs to get a move on already. She released her best album IMO "Under My Skin" less than 2 years after "Let Go". So clearly it doesn't take her long to make a great record. My only concern is that the label want more radio friendly songs like "Girlfriend, What the Hell etc".

As I said before I couldn't give a damn if she gets another hit again as long as we get quality records.
