She was very pro-Clinton however her and Trump go way back. She had both Ivana and Melania on the cover before and Ivanka was featured multiple times and Anna Wintour even personally called a teenage Ivanka to ask her to intern (Ivanka refused).

The backlash would be unmerciful but at this stage Wintour cares more about the social media aspect of the magazine (hence Kardashians, Jenners, Hadids, Smiths etc) than the actual newsstand sales.

I thought it might have been Lady GaGa but the cover would have been released before the Superbowl (surprising she got nothing tbh).

Department stores are starting to pull Ivanka's line but she does have a book out in May so who knows not that Anna needs a reason anymore
